Bilaspur Vishwavidyalaya (University) is a State University came into existence in June, 2012 and was established as per the Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya (Amendment) Act, 2011. The University is situated near the Arpa River in a temporary hospital building in a village Sendari spread into 62 acres of land.
